An open letter to my Muslim brothers

Dear Muslim Brothers,
I first thought of writing an open appeal to our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. But then I realized that it would be worse than banging my head against a granite wall. I also thought of making an emotional appeal to the President of the Congress Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi. But then, people far more powerful, important and experienced than me have tried doing that.

When I read about the riots in Assam, I was slightly perplexed. Why now? And then I was bewildered when riots broke out in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, a town that was spared communal violence and divide even at the peak of the Babri Masjid crisis. I was shocked when I saw visuals of a mob rampaging in Mumbai, desecrating and destroying even the Amar Jawan Jyoti. I was boiling with anger and helplessness by the time I read about how bona fide Indian citizens belonging to the Northeast felt so threatened that they were fleeing cities like Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai. And I felt really bad when I saw pictures of a mob trying to destroy a statue of Buddha in Lucknow.

These are truly dangerous times for India, perhaps even more dangerous than the 1980s when the Shah Bano and the Babri Masjid controversies eventually resulted in insane communal violence across the country. India had been spared the madness of communal riots since 2002. Suddenly, they loom again over India like a malevolent cloud. Predictably, the demoralized, dispirited and disgraced UPA government led by Manmohan Singh has sought to evade taking responsibility for this mess by blaming Pakistan for the mess. Apparently, morphed and false visuals of Muslims being allegedly persecuted and killed in Assam and Myanmar originated in Pakistan and were deliberately spread across India through social networking websites and text messages. That may be true.

But my question is: is that justification for molesting lady constables, desecrating the Amar Jawan Jyoti, randomly attacking people from the north east and threatening them and also destroying a Buddha statue? This is where my blunt question to my Muslims brothers, who are also fellow Indians must be asked: why are you getting so worked up over the persecution of Muslims in Myanmar? Why are you not holding rallies and organising protests against the daily massacre of Muslims in countries like Syria? Why are you not protesting against the senseless manner in which Shias are being butchered in Pakistan? Even more important: is there any dearth of real problems that Muslims face in India, while they remain one of the most economically marginalized sections of the society?

Assam is the most unsafe place...I being a citizen of the NE region have realized this every time I go home on vacations.
You have rightly mentioned in the beginning.......PM is of no use....i feel he is paralyzed and so is unable to do anything even for the smallest of issues.

I have no hard feelings for any one but whatever happened with people of north east in other parts of the country must have made them realize how people feel when they are treated such ways because in many parts of the extreme east in India, many people, who are considered outsiders are not respected at all.

I hope many people who were forced to flee from other parts of India must understand that how important it is to be united at the same time respecting all religions.

One of the best things for safety and peace is to ban the groups and organizations because they are the one who are on top of the list and cause violence.

This open letter to Indian Muslim Brethren about the senseless violence they perpetrate country wide at the slightest provocation, deserves to be preserved in a Golden Frame for the posterity. Their frenzied reaction of killing innocent people in the name of sacred religion, virtually remains as a bane of the society forever.

Dear Arindam , These were not muslims or Hindus, they were mere criminals and I will assert a new law in political science that riots and wars are always instigated by ruling class to consolidate there power and keep abusing masses. And this has been happening since riots of partition. As long as we shy away from the fact that we are being ruled by rapists, traitors and criminals and our constitution has been hijacked by nexus of criminals and traitors. The solution is to start collaborating with modern political parties like S R Party who have the vision to develop processes to enforce constitution and spurt out true potential of India. Please read http://shresthtamrashtraparty.blogspot.in/ and reach us at info@rashtraparty.org for action plan.

Dear Br,
I read ur article, I'm very worried about your written "Senseless" activity of Muslims. I want to one thing explain about you, Muslim - Muslim relation is big, They are brothers, If any one afftected ot attacked any part of the world, A Muslim should support him at any cost he will give. I agree you, A Muslim can't destroy public property, even can't attack any assam non-muslim brother in any part of the state. Islam taught that mush beautiful discipline. A Muslim is not fear God, He must answer to God, After Death.

Brother, Muslims in India not prefer violence. If you look back keenly with no biased mind you might find every incident there is story behind that. I am totally not agree attack on our Police, our people etc.,.Anyone perturbed should be punished. But we must think why they behave like this. When all the doors of Justice closed only for Muslims how can we expect a Peaceful repetence from them? Master mind of Gujrat 2002 massacre is still a chief minister, Kashimirs being killed, raped for no reason. We have Satchar commitee, Justice Krishna Commitees but no govt ready to implement it. Even no Hindu brother ready to trust Muslim. Muslims religious attire (Beard or Veil) being questioned or teased or even tortured. thousands of Muslims youngsters under Jail under fake terrorism charges....., Please think brother if this is the situation for any community (Christian, Sikh, Hindu) will they tolerate. But still Muslim tolerate and still have, will have belive on our Justice System. Attack on Assam Peoples is just a rumor. But what RSS did adding the fuel by giving Water, snacks etc., to the Assamis who are waiting in the Railway Stations. They might be already in angry. What is the yield? 3 Muslims security Guards worked in Bagaluru were returning to Assam to celebrate Ramzan. The crowd at train, fueled by RSS, beat them, kick them and killed them on the train itself and throw them out of Train. Police captured all the three bodies. Brother please think if I were the child waiting for one of my father to arrive to celebrate , what will be in my mind? If I were the wife of the killed, what might have in my mind.... Indian Muslims want peace and Justice. All the while attacked, their properties looted or destroyed. If any one opposes tehy will be locked for terrorism charges. Where are we heading to... Please ensure you are agree Muslims as your brother or as mere equal write Indian Citizen....I'm not vexed. I know these RSS is the not India. There are beyond that Hindu brothers,Sikh Brothes,Christian brothers that is what My India. I hope for better future.

Dear Arindam,
Muslims want to expressed their condemn to the riots in the democratic way. Some culprits who are intruded in the mass might have caused the damage of public property. Damaging public property or killing any brother is not acceptable. But please understand our feelings as a fellow brother of our Assam brothers. Even we worried about all muslims in the world. But we can control riots which is happening in our country by making protest in a peaceful, democratic way. That's what we are doing right now.

Dear Arindam Chaudhari,

When you talk about muslims destroying Buddhas statue and other things, I want to remind you that muslims sacred places are targeted similar way every day in India, as you only know about the Babari Masjid. And more over the violence during Mumbai's agitation for Assam riots, do you think it is more than the genocide of Muslims of Assam and thousands of Muslims being made homeless in Assam?? When you condemn it please also note the facts.. do you still expect the Muslims not to react normal for what happened to Muslims in the Assam???

And you spoke about the message sent to NE Indians and being targeted for Assam riots.. Do you still believe it was sent by Muslims what is the proof you have for it?? And for instance we think it was done by a Muslim then tell me how many NE killed for this? None right? And you may know that, by spreading this hated there were 9 Muslims thrown out of Blore-Guhati train out of which 5 were dead...I am asking you to correct your message and convey the right facts, if you are real passionate about India.

dear sir, i really feel bad when people give more importance to religion then humanity. why we are of such nature? why even in a country which is known for its tolerance and assimilative attitude, muslim brothers feel more for people of other countries just because they follow their own religion? why even after spending splendidly 65 years in independent India they doesn't become part of it in real sense? why don't they focus more on issues which ultimately give them prosperity with other fellow Indians? it is very difficult to answer........

86% Indians fear losing their jobs due to the Pandemic as per a recent online survey. The fear has completely stopped economic activities and spending. We must remove the fear and start the economy. For that we need to guarantee everyone that jobs or no job, they will be economically secure through a minimum unemployment allowance (double of which should be the minimum wages). It requires a simple four step process: 1. Create an online database of job seekers based on their Adhaar Card number. 2. Make it totally illegal to employ anyone for any kind of job without registering his/her Aadhaar Card number. 3. The moment Adhaar Card number is fed in the list of employed, it gets automatically removed from the job seekers register and they stop getting unemployment allowance. 4. Everyone getting unemployment allowance will have to necessarily do 4 hours of social and community service as directed by the registry. Employers will also know who is seeking jobs where and their qualificat...
D ear Arvind Kejriwal, As my relatives, acquaintances and students die avoidable deaths; I am completely mad on the current regime at the centre. But for every death - in reality a MURDER - in Delhi, you have equal blood on your hands. You were sitting and spending 150cr advertising yourself just between Jan to March this year while the cases increased. You did nothing for the last one year when Delhi needed at least 20,000 extra ICU beds if not more. And each bed obviously means extra oxygen facility. You have no shame to say that PM CARES fund didn’t come. Didn’t you have calculations? You are from IIT. Didn’t you know that making a few oxygen plants cost nothing compared to your state budget and so called landmark health budget? And you are FOOLING EVEN TODAY by saying lies like tomorrow even if there are 30k cases per day Delhi is now going to be equipped. You are a congenital liar. In case your IIT brain can’t calculate properly, let me help you. For every reported case in Delhi, ...
No PM after being elected should ever again be allowed to abdicate his responsibilities and go missing during every crisis. To strengthen democracy in INDIA, the entire MEDIA should come together and demand a LAW which makes it mandatory forever for any PM of INDIA to interact with the media once every fortnight at least for 60 min, & take a minimum of 15 questions from different journalists - 5 each from leading print media, electronic media & online media - with top 20 media houses from each field getting minimum of one chance by rotation to ask questions every two months. This will permanently end the godi media fraud. We can never ever again let a leader of India be unanswerable to it’s people - who are represented by the media - or develop a cosy relationship with a few media houses and keep the people of the INDIA in dark.
